Great way to see the city. Beautiful rooftop balcony overlooking the city allows you to escape the crowds and walk through the lanes in the evening after the crowds leave. Rooms modern and clean. Highly enjoyable stay.

Great location on the town triangle to get a feel of the town and walk about great location. Parking is a little bit of a walk but no big deal you can drive in to drop of/pick up luggage. The balcony rooms are neat even with a small balcony there is a great view and worth it. The rooms are clean and quiet since their overlooking the countryside. The Hosts and helpful and speak English very well. The Breakfast was very good in a dining room with a great view.

Great location, would go back and stay again. Breakfast is worth the price. Get up early to take pictures without all the crowds, and being in the center of the village is the place to be.

Supper friendly but checkin time is full many client had to line up the small entrance. For solo travel like my sister it’s good but if it’s family groups I would prefer not in the center opt for more space

I loved my stay at La Cisterna! The location was perfect, right in the heart of San Gimignano, and everything was in walking distance. Staying in the town for a night gave me a chance to explore the city before and after the tour buses came. The staff was very friendly and helpful with making dinner recommendations and helping me place a few phone calls. Rooms were cozy and comfortable (although a little chilly! Heat wasn't turned on for the season yet, but I stayed warm enough in bed.)

The front desk staff have no personality. they don't even acknowledge customers who come into the hotel. They have poor customer service, minimal to no eye contact, and no attempt to assist customers. We were placed at the very bottom of the building- we asked if there was any elevator, or if someone could assist us with our luggage- responses were both no. We had to drag our heavy luggages down several flights of stairs to get to our room. The room especially the bathroom has a musty smell. The stairs have carpet which was already dark with dirt. Location was great, it was in the center of San Gimignano. Breakfast was pretty good, and the staff at the breakfast place was great. The view from the breakfast room was awesome.

The location right in the main square is excellent. So easy to explore the town, and still quiet at night. |We arrived early and left our luggage, but our room was soon ready. |Reception staff kept changing, some were friendly some ignored you as you went in and out. |Our room on the ground floor was small and very dark, though clean and tidy.|Breakfast was an extra 14 euro, and was decent, plus the breakfast room had stunning views. |Overall, good value for money, and would stay again.
