Due to a delay with our flight we arrived quite late at the hotel. We received a very warm welcome and our host rang a nearby restaurant for us to ensure we would be able to have dinner despite the late hour. This was so much appreciated.|The hotel is in a beautiful old building and our room was fabulous, overlooking the main square.|Soundproofing is excellent as the weekly market was being set up in the morning but did not disturb us at all.|The bed was large and very comfortable and extra pillows were available. The bathroom was well equipped.|A nice breakfast was provided with good choices. There is an outdoor terrace which will be lovely in summer.

We took their apartment it was the best deal ever! Fantastic view, externally clean and quiet. On the quiet part of the town excellent for kids and family who needs space!

We stayed two nights in July 2025 and everything was perfect. It’s an old building in the centre of town and everything is spotless inside. There’s a lovely cafe bar at the front door. The staff are very friendly too. We had a room at the back with a super view of the countryside. Breakfast on the open terrace was fresh and delicious. A really good stop over. 100%.

We stayed at hotel Leon Bianco it was beautiful ,clean the staff were fantastic the rooms spacious the bathroom excellent I highly recommend this hotel and on top of that you are in the center what do you want more

Perfect location! We loved staying right on the heart of the square which our room overlooked. It was impressive that although we were overlooking the square you couldn’t hear anything through the windows. We did have to park at the farthest lot P1 as the rest were full and dragging our luggage was not fun, but we had a fair warning of this! Nothing overly impressive about the interiors of the rooms but they were clean and cool and the location was fantastic!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel, located in a building over 1000 years old! We booked a room for four people and were pleasantly surprised to get a spacious two-bedroom setup. The hotel is right in the center of San Gimignano, which made it easy to explore the town.|The only downside is the parking situation — parking areas around San Gimignano are often full, and you need to walk or take a shuttle bus to the hotel with your bags.|Overall, a wonderful experience and definitely worth it for the amazing location and atmosphere!

The Town|If you take one of those all day tours from Florence around Tuscany it will most likely include San Gimignano. I did that a few years ago and this by far was the most beautiful place on the tour. Everyone says this is the most beautiful town. You won't regret spending a night or two here. Relax and enjoy the town and the view -- esp at night when the crowds go away. Getting There|Cars are not allowed in the old town....unless they are dropping you off for a hotel. Our driver took us up a back road and dropped us at the front door. It was easy and quick. Entrance|No bellman. One of the family members was behind the desk. Check in was quick. The lift is small so we took turns going up. Room|The room is definitely outdated and could use a refresh. But when you open the window (assuming you got a room with a view), the view is spectacular. It's what you came to Tuscany to see. It had modern amenities and was clean. Breakfast|It was simple and filling. Area Around|Right outside the door is the cistern and the town square. From there you can get to any of the shops, bars or restaurants. There are many little places with incredible views. Conclusion|We really loved this place and would stay there again.

We were very impressed by our stay at the Leon Bianco hotel. Staff was nice and helpful. This charming hotel is located right on the main city place. It was good value for the low price we paid. Room was very clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom with lots of water pressure. Breakfast at 12€ was delicious with lots of options. Don't hesitate to book, this is the place to stay in San Gimignano.
