I am very meticulous about hotels. I like an upscale hotel but not stuffy! This is by far one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed at . It's super clean, comfortable beds, beautiful terrace and pool area. The gym is simple and all you need. The breakfast was fantastic with so many options for all eaters! We actually extended our stay one night because we didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this hotel. We can't wait to come back to Siena and stay there again!

We stayed at the hotel for a week and had an amazing experience. The hotel’s design is beautiful, and the rooms are stylish, comfortable, and well-equipped. The beds were excellent, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, making our stay especially comfortable. It was also noticeable that the food and beverage offering has recently been improved. The service staff were confident, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The only area that could still be enhanced is the pool menu, which would benefit from a wider selection of beverages. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would be happy to return.

A wonderful hotel that perfectly combines classic elegance, tranquility, excellent service, and a great location. It was the perfect base for exploring Tuscany, with easy access to many beautiful towns and cities. The pool was absolutely perfect for relaxing and escaping the heat during the hottest hours of the day. The hotel is charming, beautifully maintained, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!

Beautiful property with great service. I am a Marriott lifetime titanium elite and reserved two rooms in this hotel on vacation with my kids. Both rooms were upgraded and our main room was an incredible suite. Breakfast was also amazing. I will absolutely return to this hotel when going back to Sienna.

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful urban resort just outside Siena, set within a magnificently restored 17th-century villa. Now part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, the property comprises the main villa together with a number of charming annex buildings.|The renovation has been carried out with exceptional taste, blending contemporary interiors with original antique furnishings and stunning frescoed ceilings, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and authentic.|Although the rooms are not particularly large, they are beautifully designed, impeccably maintained and incredibly comfortable, especially the beds. I would highly recommend booking one of the Deluxe rooms in the main villa, as they are more spacious and offer an even more refined experience.|The restaurant features a lovely veranda where breakfast is served. The breakfast selection is well presented, with a good variety of quality products, and there is also a pleasant outdoor dining area.|One of the highlights of the property is undoubtedly its magnificent gardens, with beautifully furnished terraces overlooking the Tuscan countryside and offering distant views of the skyline of Siena. The generous swimming pool area, complete with comfortable sun loungers and a pool bar, is the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing.|What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding hospitality of the entire team. Every member of staff was genuinely warm, attentive and eager to help. A special thank you to the friendly Niccolò at Reception, the charismatic Alessandro at the bar, and the tireless and incredibly kind Lucia at the pool bar. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the names of the other team members, but each and every one of them contributed to making our stay memorable. Finally, congratulations to the General Manager, Gianluigi Rubbioli, for the impeccable management of such a truly charming property.|We will certainly be back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an elegant and relaxing base from which to explore Siena and the surrounding Tuscan countryside.

We stayed at Villa Ermellina Siena in August as a family of four and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Our children especially loved the swimming pool – a real treat in the summer heat – and we all enjoyed relaxing on the panoramic terrace with views over Siena. The location is ideal: just outside the city centre, which makes it quiet and relaxing, yet still close enough for easy access to Siena’s attractions. The food was lovely too – fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Our room was stylish and comfortable, and the whole property felt thoughtfully designed. Villa Ermellina is perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for a serene escape with top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back!

The Hotel is very nicely located in a very beautifully arranged garden in the outskirts of Siena. It’s been recently renovated and upgraded to meet modern standards. However, certain criteria aren’t up to their standards, especially not for a Tribute Portfolio five star rated property: 1. No information provided during booking process that the outdoor pool area is closed and not accessible to guests. 2. No room upgrade granted to a Platinum Elite Member although there was availability 3. Breakfast service way below standard (service slow and unattended buffet, staff to customer ratio not proportional, choice and quality of food products mediocre, bread selection not fresh and not much variety). 4. Bar closes at 11 pm with no alternative provided. Altogether an OK experience but definitely needs a focus on getting their act together if they want to be considered as a five star property. The property has the potential. The management obviously needs to focus on leveraging it.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Ermellina. The complimentary parking is a huge plus and it makes a great base for touring around Tuscany. Excellent views from the terrace and the food at the restaurant was very good. I am a Titanium member and got an upgrade to a slightly larger room, the base rooms are quite small. I think Marriott does this property a disservice by marketing it to the public as luxury when it is actually in the premium brand tier. It meets all expectations of a premium brand, but the marketing pushes it as luxury which it is not. One thing I think there is room for improvement on is the breakfast service. You sit wherever you want and when it is busy, they fall behind on having tables set which makes tracking down silverware a challenge. It would be more efficient if they either set out silverware at the buffet, or sat you and then provided place settings upon seating. Otherwise, a lovely property!
