Alma House is the newest serviced apartment to launch in the city centre located steps away from the Singapore River in Robertson Quay, housed within New Bahru – Singapore’s latest creative lifestyle destination.

Given the historical significance of the building as a school, there was a heightened sensitivity in the design approach to reflect the distinctive character of the site. The design elements weaved together old world charm and modern comforts, influenced by the concept of going back to school, back to your roots, back to your alma mater, inspiring the name Alma House.

Designed by award-winning design studio FARM, behind hotel projects like Lloyd’s Inn, The Clan Hotel and The Barracks and Aesop retail stores, the Lobby Lounge is curated as an extended living room, where guests can work with coffee in the daytime and end with a nightcap in the evenings.

Alma House will resonate with the curious explorer seeking an off-the-beaten-path hyperlocal experience, which houses the city’s leading and rising homegrown creative businesses across food, retail, crafts, wellness, enrichment, arts and culture.

Guests are not short of gastronomy options in New Bahru where they can have a taste of comfort food to fine dining options with the likes of The Coconut Club, Le Bon Funk, Somma, One Fattened Calf, Kotuwa, Artichoke, San Shu Gong, Huevos and more. Conveniences like a supermarket, Cold Storage (CS Fresh), and coffee/breakfast options at PPP Coffee are located next to where Alma House is situated. All Alma House guests enjoy exclusive perks and benefits from the various partner restaurants, retail and wellness offerings at New Bahru.

With 83 serviced apartment units across six distinct room categories, each meticulously designed to suit the needs of diverse users, be it solos, groups, business professionals, couples, families, or digital nomads.
