On arrival to hotel you exit your taxi/private hire car at the end of a pedestrian street, a short walk to the hotel. If you contact the hotel you will be met by a staff member and they will carry your luggage. The start of a special trip.|A 3 minute walk and 20 steps will bring you to the front of the hotel. Its hidden off the main pedestrian street with all its top shops and bars. A perfect location to explore.|Small hotel but very friendly staff all speaking good english as my Italian was basic at best. |Our room was on third floor and gave a beautiful vista of the sea and the old roof tops. Room was comfortable and cool at night with working air con if needed. Tv with a few English channels, mostly news.|In our bathroom we had shower no bath and it was lovely with rainfall attachment and plentiful products in separate bottles, not attached to the wall. |Breakfast was on 1st floor and staff were attentive and friendly. Food was excellent and ordered from an a la carte menu. Very quiet area and was very spacious.|Rooftop bar is lovely for a drink in the evening when it opens with its view of Mt Etna. We didn't stay too long up there, as the drinks are expensive and there is much better atmosphere in the lovely restaurants and bars only a few steps away.|The hotel will organise an 8 seater minibus to bring you down to the beach just a few meters from the hotel. Beach and trip are 50 euro per person per day. Beach is approx 15 min drive down the hill and its a small stone beach so beach shoes are handy, though not necessary. Beach bar has shoes ones that people leave behind.

Our stay at Palazzo Vecchio Taormina was truly unforgettable. The hotel is in an amazing location, and every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations.|The front desk staff was absolutely fantastic. Their communication was phenomenal both leading up to our trip and throughout our stay. They took care of booking beach trips for us, answered every question (a man d there were a lot), booked off site hair apts, and made everything feel completely effortless.|Their level of care became especially clear one night around 12:30 a.m., when my husband had a pill stuck in his throat (we realize how ridiculous this was..) I called the front desk because the only cure was for him to eat to help push it down. Within two minutes, someone raced to our room carrying several different options. We were incredibly grateful and will never forget how quickly and compassionately they responded.|Housekeeping was equally amazing. Our room was always immaculate, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully cared for. The entire housekeeping team did an exceptional job throughout our stay.|The restaurant was also fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed both breakfast and dinner, and the food and service were consistently excellent.|Palazzo Vecchio Taormina is a beautiful hotel with an exceptional team that genuinely cares about its guests. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience and would return without hesitation.

This is the best place in Taormina. The hotel is clean, super up to date, the decor is top notch and the staff super friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

What a fine. It the busy streets of Taormina this Boutique hotel is nestled just a few steps away from the main street but feels like another world. It has the best Roof top bar. We stayed in a junior suite and views incredible. Loved our stay there.

For those seeking a stay where Sicilian warmth, understated sophistication, and the beauty of nature coexist effortlessly, the "Palazzo Vecchio" is truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived at this beautifully restored nineteenth-century palazzo, we were enveloped in an ambiance of serenity and discreet grandeur. Our room opened onto sweeping views of Taormina and its enchanting bay, while the Moroccan-inspired interiors blended atmosphere, comfort, and enduring style with remarkable taste. The culinary experience alone would justify the journey. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were so memorable that we rarely felt tempted to dine elsewhere. The sunset aperitivo on the terrace is simply unmissable: inventive interpretations of traditional Sicilian sfizi, impeccably prepared, paired with a breathtaking panorama that transformed each evening into a special occasion. What elevated the experience even further was the professionalism and genuine kindness of the staff, always attentive, gracious, and eager to assist with every detail. Their recommendation of a private excursion to Mount Etna, followed by an extraordinary wine and gastronomic tasting rooted in local tradition, became one of the highlights of our stay. Every corner of the property reflects a remarkable eye for detail - Venetian inspiration, Baroque richness, Mediterranean luminosity, and subtle Moroccan accents in a way that feels both cultivated and harmonious. Combined with the remarkable cuisine and impeccable hospitality, the entire experience felt less like a holiday and more like a privileged retreat we will remember for years to come.

We spent a wonderful four nights at Palazzo Vecchio in mid September. The location, just off Corso Umberto, was great. Up a few flights of stairs, it was set back and up from the road so was quiet, yet in the hub of restaurants/shops etc. Our room was large, comfortable, well taken care of throughout our stay, and had a nice view of the sea. Miriam was so very helpful in making our reservation, booking restaurants, and insuring we had a great stay. Antonio, the concierge, had a wealth of information about the area, was extremely helpful in organizing our stay with suggestions on day trips/restaurants/walks etc and was happy to make reservations for us for restaurants/beach clubs/and car service. Breakfast was included with our room and served at Monsú, a beautiful garden room restaurant. Armando, the maître d, and Andrea in the dining room, were wonderful as well. We enjoyed bantering with them at breakfast - which was excellent btw. We had dinner at Monsú as well, and are still thinking about the silky eggplant parmigiana appetizer and the salt crusted sea bass. The chef came out to say hello, a nice touch. One of the best features of this hotel is their rooftop bar which gives a panoramic view of Mt. Etna and of all of Taormina to the sea. It opens at 6pm and is a great place for cocktails and to watch the sunset. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

From the moment you arrive, you know this is a special place. Located off of the main pedestrian street and up a staircase is the Palazzo Vecchio. This historic building is reflected in the 12 beautifully decorated rooms and suites. Deluxe Junior Suite Seaview 402 was where I stayed. It was designed in a Moroccan theme reminiscent of many of the Arabian architectural influences in Taormina. The room was very clean and all of the light switches and outlets were easy to locate and in working order. Good hair dryer. Deep soaking tub and shower. There was even a ceiling fan in addition to a good working air conditioner. The sheets were to die for. So soft and luxurious. The service in Monsu Restaurant and the Blue Sky Lounge were outstanding throughout the two night stay. Very attentive wait staff and front desk staff are there to make your stay memorable and worry free. You may even run into the hotel owner who is a kind, gracious man. Thank you Stefano, Miriam and Claudio for your warm hospitality. I hope to return again one day!

If you want to feel like you are on a very special holiday look no further. Tip top service all around. All of the staff was kind, friendly and professional. The Sky Roof Bar is a must see with stunning views of the sunset. The food was delicious and well prepared. |This a spot we would return again and again.
