Tripadvisor· 5 months agoRoom is very very noise with traffic noises all night and early morning. Can't sleep at all! Facilities are bad with tiny little bar sopes for showers and hand washing. Stay away from this hotel at all cost. The only good thing is the location.

Google· 5 months agoThe Quaint little hotel tries to provide a Moroccan Cultural Experience. The way of life in Morocco in years gone by. Moroccan hand painted furniture, celings and doors. Coffee tables and a replica of a Moroccan seating and living room. The bathrooms and toilets follow the same lines. The flooring in our room was regular plain tile. White walls with hand painted celings and painted tables, dressing tables, bed posts. An AC and Safe was provided. The bath was Moroccan and very old fashioned 3x2 feet with a sole plastic hand shower. The bathroom looked shabby and badly designed. The washbasin looked and felt unclean. 2 well used towels were provided only. The mini soaps were hard, odurless and didn't lather and foam at all. One toilet roll is provided. Hot water comes through a geyser mounted in the bathroom. The sole dustbin is not lined with a plastic bag to hold garbage. The window was not sound proof and there was much noise on the road carrying on till late at night. But the room and the air smelled clean and fresh. The sheets and blankets provided were smooth and cozy. The TV was not operable , proably on account of dead batteries in the remotes. Breakfast is provided. Typical Moroccan. 60 percent of it bought from vendors from around ( biscuits, cakes, buns, traditional Moroccan breads and crepes) they all look mediocre and tasted poorly. A hot toaster plate was provided to reheat the day old Moroccan bread and crepes Fruit salad wasn't looking appealing and tasted ok The best offering was eggs made to order with good fresh crusty bread. Moroccan tea and coffee provided but of very low standards. Juices, jams, cereal, goat cheese and lower end individual pkt of cream cheese that had a bitter after taste. Another plus was bottled water was provided, where guests could refill over and over again. The variety was there but poor quality and staleness prevailed. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay.

Tripadvisor· 8 months agoBudget hotel in the heart of the city, very popular with tour groups. Clean but old, no toiletries, hair dryer and hot water is on and off. Also the lighting in the rooms is dim and the safe doesn't work. Breakfast is light with an egg cooked to order with bread and spreads.

Tripadvisor· 10 months agoStayed here as part of a tour group, and I actually really liked this hotel. While others in the group who were sharing rooms had complaints, I enjoyed my single room. The rooms are kitsch and uniquely designed. It felt like the physical embodiment of ‘Morocco’. My single room had a double bed and a lounge, along with a decent sized shower and bathroom. One of my favourite parts of the hotel was the lounge on the ground level. Beautiful red and white upholstered lounges and tables to match, where we could spend time together in the afternoons playing games. The location itself is really central, within minutes of the Medina entrance. Staff were very helpful and friendly, carrying out suitcases up the stairs as they don’t have elevators. Breakfast was basic, but they did have an omelette station which were made to order. The only minor complaint is that the hairdryer (which you had to get from reception) was more of a warm breeze than a solid dryer, but it worked all the same.

Google· 10 months agoHotel and rooms are a little on the older side but not bad. Killed a couple bugs in the room and it was a bit dirty but not bad overall. The water heater worked great, just make sure to plug it in an hour before use. I don’t recommend drinking the water here so bring lots.

Google· 6 months agoHotel needs work. Rooms had only one outlet and you had to plug a heater so no phone charging. No TP, and rooms without wifi. Location close to the Medina.

Tripadvisor· a year agoQuaint historic hotel on main street just outside the old medina and Kasbah walls. Great location for exploring the blue city on foot as well as accessing the trails up to the Spanish Mosque and further up the mountain. Hotel is traditional Moroccan design with beautiful colourful tile work. Lounge/breakfast room decorated in traditional colourful Moroccan style. Bedrooms were also designed with colourful furniture. Beds were a bit hard but everything was clean and large thick blankets were provided for cooler nights . AC was available but we did not need it in early April. TV in room but we did not use. Safe available for valuables in room. Only one power outlet for electrical appliances. Bathroom was small but functional. Great hot water and pressure. No shower door so have to be careful where to aim shower. There was no housekeeping service in the 2 nights we stayed but clean towels and toilet paper were provided when we asked. Buffet breakfast included fresh omelettes, assorted breads and pastries, cheese and beverages. Wifi cut in and out but for most part was fine. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
