The service we were greeted with was terrible. The person on the desk was an late middle aged man with greying hair and beard. We was very rude, dismissive, didn't listen. Served 3 other people while we were waiting for him, asked our name multiple times... It was actually unbelievable. The hotel is nice, but the location isnt great. Its basically in the middle of the worst of Naples. We didn't feel safe at the location at all.

I make the reservations for a small construction company for our out of town projects. We make reservations under the owner's name and use the points to save money on future reservations. This works for Marriott, IHG, Hilton and has always worked for Best Western. After making the reservation, I called the front desk explained we were using points and authorized them to use the company visa for incidentals. I was sent an authorization form, which I filled out and returned. The employee's names were added to the reservation. The front desk employee told me we were all set for them to check in. It was explained that the two employees would be checking in, not the owner. I was told that would be fine. At 5pm I get a call that Nay Nieves, "front desk manager" won't let them check in. She was curt and not helpful. She said the owner had to be there for the points to be used. I explained the auth form, earlier conversation and the fact that their names were added to the reservation. She said it didn't matter and the person I spoke to was not there. I asked if it would work if I had the owner call her directly. She said no. BW Rewards customer Service was on the phone and asked her to see if the general manager would do an override. She said the manager wasn't there and she couldn't contact him/her. Since this was a mistake on the hotel's part, they should have made an exception and let our guys check in. This hotel is not well managed. The employees are not properly trained. Nay Nieves was rude. Our guys were actually slightly relieved, as they said the property was not well kept. We will not use this property anymore. We will not use any Best Western anymore.

After a very bad experience at another hotel with a really stinky room, I was happily surprised with this hotel. Unlike other reviewers I didn’t have a bad experience with any desk staff. Some I did not interact with. My room was nice and only needed some floor sweeping, which never happed by the end of my 3 night stay. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and had a lot of offerings, and it is on the 5th floor of the building with a terrace and a view of the city. Short walk to rail and tram and bus transport options. Being near a train station in any city has its problems. Some unfortunate people live on the streets in the area. I stayed aware of my surroundings and had no problems. If you are afraid of that local flair, you might want a place in the tourist area along the waterfront in Napoli instead, but expect to pay a lot more.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. We really enjoyed the selection of breakfast items (mainly continental with the exception of some cheeses and hams, bacon and egg). The roof top terrace is beautiful but only open at breakfast time which was disappointing because we would’ve loved to have sat out there during the day or in the evening. The room was compact (3 adults) and bathroom was compact too however being in a city, we didn’t expect a mansion. Beds are comfortable and A/C worked great. If you want to use the mini bar or safe, you have to pay extra. You also have to pay the city tax at the end of your visit which was expected. Hotel has a small gym downstairs behind reception with modern facilities however it is extremely small (1 machine of each) however we didn’t use the gym since we were out exploring. Hotel WiFi is free and has decent signal and connection is good. There is a small bar downstairs that the reception has to run so there may not always be staff there to serve you so make sure to go to reception and inform them that you’re waiting - prices were decent too. The main letdown here was the area that the hotel is based in. Each to their own opinion as we read a lot of reviews prior to booking that the hotel was in a great area which it is very close to the train and bus station however the area itself did feel very unsafe when coming back past 5pm or going out before 9am. There were alot of dodgy character around but as long as you’re vigilant, you should be fine but good to remain aware of your surroundings. Compliments to receptionist Paolo for his friendliness, kindness and generosity during our stay. His kindness definitely stood out to us.

Right next to the train station. A good starting place to go to the Napoli areas. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was great - a good selection. Also a very good and sweat selection of desserts and alike. The hotel rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable. For the Napoli heat the AC did an amazing job. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Napoli.

Spacious room, good pressure in shower, wide range of breakfast choices. Location in Naples is ideal as far away enough from the train station to be quiet but central enough that most of the city is within walking distance. Good base for visiting Pompeii and Herculaneum as day trips.

The area around the hotel is a ghetto. Its filthy with trash all over. The area has extremely sketchy people shouting and threatening tourists with cameras if they pull them out. Its unsafe and no couples or families should be anywhere near here. Room was acceptable. Hotel itself has had some updates. Like the bolted steel door that remains locked all night to prevent the aforementioned people out. See photos.

Extremely disappointing experience. The front desk service was terrible and completely overshadowed our stay. The level of professionalism, communication and customer service was well below what I would expect from a four-star hotel. Our stay was also affected by multiple power cuts, although I appreciate those may have been outside the hotel’s control. The only positive was the housekeeping team, who were friendly, helpful and a credit to the hotel. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the standard of its front desk service.
