Charming hotel in a historic building. Staff told us that this was part of the old University of Vienna and that the bedrooms were actually classrooms previously. Hotel is beautiful and excellently located -- just a few steps from a tram stop and easily accessible by Uber, etc. The room was well appointed and included a kitchenette that was well equipped -- kettle, pots, utensils, etc. Room was large and since three of us were on the trip (husband, me, child) -- we did not feel cramped at all. The one challenge here is that there is no AC. Staff told us that since this is a historic building, it is quite impossible to install it. We had the unfortunate challenge of being in Vienna during a heatwave so it was quite hot in the room. They did provide two electirc fans, which helped a lot. I would definitely stay here again -- probably not in the summer, though.

The location is excellent for walking to major tourist spots. There are some nice cafes right around the corner and the subway and tram stations are right across the street. The apartment is very clean, spacious and has a fully equipped kitchen. The heating worked well(I was there in February) and the instructions for collecting the keys etc. were clear.

Highly recommend the HeyMi apartments, centrally located near the famous landmarks, close to almost everything: metro, tram station, Cafés, restaurants, shops. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautiful with super high ceilings.

Absolutely fabulous apartment in a very convenient location. Schottentor subway station is very near for the U2 line as well as trams.|The historic centre (Cathedral) is just 15-20 minute walk away.|Our apartment (15B) was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. HeyMi’s communication was fantastic from the moment we booked until we arrived. Check-in was seamless and friendly. We had a very early flight so arrived before lunch and they were happy to store our luggage (as well as when we checked-out). There is a lift in the block.|I have no hesitation in recommending the apartment.

HeyMi Apartments 18A are situated in a beautiful old building with a gorgeous monumental staircase. But not to worry, there is an elevator to get you suitcases upstairs. The apartment in itself sleeps five people. There are two bedrooms with a double bed and there is a sofa bed in the living room. The living room is beautiful and spacious with a high ceiling. The apartment has two bathrooms, a small ensuite connected to the big bedroom and a big bathroom that is situated near the entrance. The beds were too hard to my liking. I felt like the quality of the mattrasses was not good, so I slept not as well as I hoped. When the five of us took a shower, it happened multiple times that the last person had only cold water to shower with. Make sure the first people using the showers don't shower too long, so there is hot water left for everyone. We got a ton of instructions before entering the apartment building, but somehow they forgot to tell us how we could enter the building when the main gate was closed after a certain time. An oversight that left us stranded on the road the first evening after dinner. Luckily there was an emergency phone number available, where we could ask for instructions. The location of this apartment is very convenient, close to the metro and bus station.

We used a booking site to make a reservation. |Somehow we ended up in a different building and asked the management to reassign the room to correct the reservation. Here comes their mentality: please cancel the current reservation and book a new one, if it would be available, but they could not guarantee and the customer might pay 100% penalty, but it is the customer's fault! |Therefore, please know their managers are reluctant to make any changes, so do not count on them. |What we like: it's a clean place and location.|What we do not like: the rooms are in the residential building and the entrance to the place and elevator are neglected: quite dirty. Rooms are furnished with everything from IKEA. Uncomfortable mattresses, chairs could not possibly provide a good night sleep. Check out at 11 am: in case you need to store the luggage, the guests need to get to the main office for that, which is closed at 17:00. Checking out procedures required extensive cleaning of the apartment by 11:00. The Internet is atrocious at this place: either slow traffic or could not be connected. In apartment # 16, restroom, bathroom, washing machine and cleaning supplies are all in one tiny space. Kitchen tiny, no windows.
