Friendly Staff: Guests repeatedly praise the staff for being friendly, welcoming and helpful, with several naming specific employees for their attentive service.
Food Options: Reviews mention a vast and delicious food selection, including many vegetarian choices, at both breakfast and other meals.
Clean Rooms: Several guests describe the rooms as clean, comfortable and spacious, noting the hotel itself is modern and well maintained.

Guests mention

Pool Temperature: Guests note the pool is not heated, so it is only comfortable in very hot weather; it was too cold for swimming in June.
Road Noise: Some reviews mention road noise in rooms facing the road, so requesting a room away from the street at check-in may help.

We concluded our 10 trip at the Kibo Palace and had a very nice, 2 night stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the service was good and the food options were vast and delicious. Being a vegetarian, I was very happy to see many choices! We enjoyed sitting by the pool in the evening, although it would be nice to have some lounge chairs to relax by the pool in addition to the table and chairs. The grounds around the pool were well maintained and you didn't realize you were in the city. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Recently, my wife, friends and I stayed at Kibo Palace. Kibo Palace is a fairly new, very quiet and clean, modern hotel in Arusha. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and always desiring to help. Because we were moving on to our safari, we only spent one night at Kibo but before we departed in the morning, we had a wonderful breakfast in the dining room. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend Kibo Palace.

Pros: it is a good, walkable location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and seemed clean. |Cons: the toilet was leaking, and I slipped in the water and almost fell before noticing it. I see that was mentioned in another review, which makes me think that ongoing maintenance is not happening. There is quite a bit of road noise in the rooms facing the road. The pool is lovely but, but as with most hotels in the area, not heated, so only usable when it's very hot outside. It was too cold in June.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We had 2 rooms, which were big and clean. The furnishings are a bit dated but nothing to complain about. Food was good, with good choice and good service. A great place to stay whilst visiting Arusha.

The Kibo Palace hotel is in a very good location and was a good option as a stop over after arriving from a long international flight before embarking on a safari adventure. Check in was very good and we were given our room a good few hours before the official check in time.|All the staff we encountered were very helpful and we were always met with a smile! |Special shout out to Bernard, Jumapili and Vicent who really looked after us. |We had breakfast and lunch and there were lots of options to choose from.
